Proper ecosystem restoration of solar fields allows a second chance for many species, both animal and plant, by providing a place for them to settle and thrive. Among the most benefited are the steppe species, currently with a very accentuated regression of their populations.
Work we are carrying out:
- Restoration and naturalisation of the degraded area.
- Generation of biodiversity: construction of mosaic landscapes and refuge areas for the breeding and feeding of different local species of insects, amphibians, reptiles, micro and macro mammals and birds.
- Enhancement of local species, mainly those in regression.
- Elimination of invasive exotic fauna.
- Development of SDG 2030 (Sustainable Development Goals 2030), especially SDG 15 and, incidentally, SDG 13, 11, 6, 3, 17.
